Aleisha + Chris - Spicers Hidden Vale

Now Aleisha + Chris… What style these two have!! We first connected via email months and months back while they were planning their wedding from Japan. They have spent the better part of the last 10 years traveling here there and everywhere for their work and due to that they needed to plan everything from over the sea. They only returned a few weeks before their wedding and we finally got to meet in person. I instantly fell in love with them. Aleisha is this little bubble of colour and happiness. She has this way of warming the environment so that people feel comfortable and welcomed into her world.

The day was seamless… emotional… and simply so enjoyable. They both got ready with their amazing bridal party on site in the cottages at Spicers. Gah - this place is one of our favs! It was so simple just popping from one room to the next to capture all their bridal prep. They were able to relax into the whole event, as the team at Spicers brought a constant supply of delicious food an drinks.

Aleisha walked up to the aisle with both her mum and dad and as they gave her away she then walked the remainder of the aisle in effortless grace to her man who was holding the tissues at end. Their ceremony + speeches had many tears and you could feel the love shared by their group of friends and family.

Having worked as an actress and surrounded by the world of Disney, there was no doubt that Aleisha would inject this romantic, whimsical beauty into the styling choices for the day. The flowers were filled with pops of bright apricot, soft pastel purples and that tiffany blue. They cascaded the arbor and rustic bridal tables bringing that sense of fairy tale to the atmosphere. Her dress by Dalia Fox resembled snow flakes that simply floated around her all day. It was just so pretty. They boys suits were a vegan friendly dusty blue that gave a timeless, classic and sophisticated look. The boys were sharp! The tables at their reception were placed under a massive fig tree laced with fairy lights. Everyone shared a vegan meal prepared by the incredible Spicers Chef and it is safe to say I’ve never had mushrooms as good as that!

It was an honour to be a part of your day Chris and Aleisha, and we wish you both endless happiness for your marriage. Remember - “You are protected in short, by your ability to love” - Albus Dumbledore
